You will assemble structural and mechanical components, follow detailed work instructions, and participate in Lean initiatives to improve efficiency while working in a team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of manufacturing or fabrication experience, can read blueprints in English, and is available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Formación

• 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work instructions (in English).
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment.
• Utilize manual and automated tools to complete assembly tasks.

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production issues.
• Identify constraints and elevate issues when needed.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in cross-training and assist with team performance improvements.
• Support overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Job Description

Location: North Charleston, SC 29418 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: Variable shift (typically 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM; must be flexible for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)
Interview: Virtual (Teams) with Hiring Managers

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment
• Utilize manual and automated tools to complete assembly tasks
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production issues
• Identify constraints and elevate issues when needed
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in cross-training and assist with team performance improvements
• Support overtime as needed to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or work instructions (in English)
• Experience using basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
• Ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of aerospace or high-volume production experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production environment and handling materials safely

• Strong attendance and reliability required
