Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Land Pride division, is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler at the Kipp, KS facility. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

The role involves assembling prototypes, interpreting engineering prints, and ensuring parts are correctly checked and tested where needed. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to read prints, and comfortable working within Lean manufacturing environments.

Assembler – 1st Shift – Kipp, KS

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, has an opening for a 1st Shift Assembler to join our team at the facility in Kipp, KS. The hours for this role are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes
• Sort and check in parts
• Assist with testing as needed
• Interpret engineering prints and follow specifications
• Deliver and pick up parts
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
