Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Assembler for 1st shift in Sedalia, MO. You will set up and assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and repair units using blueprints, BOMs, and instructions.

Responsibilities include assembling and inspecting components, supporting build processes, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. A HS diploma and mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with shop math, metrics, and conversions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Position Summary

Gardner Denver is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Sedalia, MO. In this role, you will work from procedures, visual work instructions, bills of materials, and blueprints to set up and assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and re-manufacture returned units.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment according to specifications and work instructions
• Perform inspection of parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Support basic unit build processes following established procedures
• Utilize mechanical aptitude to complete assembly tasks accurately
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Follow quality and safety standards to ensure proper assembly and performance
