What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you will manufacture custom hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies that meet Parker and customer specifications. G&H Distributing & Supply is one of only 11 Parker Certified Hose Assemblers in the United States, and your work plays a critical role in delivering products our OEM and industrial customers depend on every day.

Requirements
In This Role, You Will:
  • Assemble hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies using established work instructions and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, crimp, and assemble hose and fittings to precise customer requirements.
  • Read work orders, assembly instructions, and basic blueprints or specifications.
  • Select the correct hose, fittings, adapters, and components for each assembly.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to verify proper crimp dimensions, fit, and overall quality.
  • Perform quality checks and testing as required to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
  • Accurately complete production, quality, and inventory documentation.
  • Safely operate assembly equipment, crimping machines, measuring tools, and other production equipment.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Support teammates and assist with other production duties as business needs require.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn technical assembly processes.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
