Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Assembler in Lafayette, LA, offering a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. You will assemble products, inspect finished work, and help maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements include at least 1 year in assembly or related manufacturing, forklift experience, and the ability to read a tape measure. You will use hand and power tools, including nail guns and a miter saw, and contribute to quality output.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of assembly, carpentry, or related manufacturing experience.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools, including nail guns and miter saws.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and measurements.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility.
• Perform assembly and production tasks according to specifications.
• Accurately read a tape measure to ensure proper dimensions and quality.
• Use hand tools and power tools, including nail guns and miter saws, to complete projects.
• Assist with carpentry-related tasks and product assembly.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
