Job summary

Fortive in Keene, NH is looking for an Assembler to join their team. In this role, you'll assemble and test a diverse range of optical assemblies following established procedures and specifications.

The position requires strong dexterity, a high school diploma, and a minimum of three years of related experience. You will work Monday to Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, participating in continuous improvement activities while ensuring quality through inspection and testing.

Job description

As an Assembler at Janos Technology site in Keene, NH you will be required to assemble and test a wide range of optical assemblies.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (5:00am-3:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, kit, clean, install, assemble, rework, test, solder and/or inspect product at various stages of assembly from raw components to final packaging. Work from prints, drawings, method sheets diagrams or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures, lean processes, and standard work.
• Operate optical test equipment to evaluate the performance of optical assemblies.
• Collect, analyze, and report inspection / test data from production processes requiring basic mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Count, sort, label, and package assembled materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have strong dexterity and be able to assemble small pieces.
• Must read, speak and understand English written instruction and documentation.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Basic computer skills required for using Janos information systems.
