Maverick Group US LLC in Kankakee, Illinois, is building an off-shift assembly crew and seeking entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude to assemble precision equipment as part of a small, tight team.
You will read assembly drawings, install bearings, and help move production on the off shift, with opportunities to advance into lead or supervisory roles and to work toward robotics or checkout areas.
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of industrial machinery with a large, vertically integrated operation: procurement, fabrication, machining, production planning, logistics, assembly, quality control, panel building, maintenance, and programming all under one roof. The company is growing, has a long history of employee tenure, and strongly favors promoting from within. The culture is collaborative and family-oriented.
The company is building out a dedicated off-shift assembly crew and is hiring several people to join it. These roles are open to entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, and automotive mechanics and automotive students are a good fit. You will assemble precision mechanical equipment as part of a small, tight team. There is a clear path to move up into lead and supervisory roles, or into the checkout and robotics side of the business.
