Job summary

Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC in California is seeking an assembler to perform value-adding tasks in the assembly department for pump builds. You will complete final assembly, including kitting, testing finish goods, and final packaging.

Responsibilities include following standard work, performing TPM, hydro-test, and maintaining safety and quality while meeting daily production goals. A high school diploma is preferred; no prior experience required, with opportunity to learn on the job.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and conform to company standards and building requirements.
  • Ability to work in a standing environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build which includes but is not limited to kitting, sub-assembly, and boxing of pump.
  • Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform TPM (total preventative maintenance) on department tools and equipment.
  • Perform Hydro-test on required work order and capture certificate.
  • Ensures duties performed meet company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Capture production log and report to Supervisor and Lead daily.
  • Maintain inventory accuracies by transacting work order and move orders properly and completely in Oracle.
  • Responsible for completing priorities set forth by the lead and supervisor for the day.
  • Must comply with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • Performs all duties as assigned by the department lead to support production.
  • Must demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance.
  • Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in the daily work.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures and rules.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • All other duties assigned
