Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products according to customer specifications. The role requires setting up the work area, checking quality, and using hand tools to complete assemblies.

Safety and clean workspace are essential, with opportunities to participate in CI and safety programs. The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED (preferred but not required) and basic math skills; 18+ years old is required, with 6

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area prior to starting the shift and ensure tools and materials are available.
• Assemble parts according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stack and label finished products according to procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection and report any issues.
• Record production data as required and comply with safety and quality procedures.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
