A leading manufacturing company in Ridgeway, NY, seeks an Experienced Machine Operator to perform various production tasks related to sheet metal assembly. Candidates should have at least two years of manufacturing experience and be capable of operating high-speed machinery. The position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to lift at least 40 lbs. A comprehensive benefits package is included, along with a competitive pay range of $16.65 to $20.35 per hour.

Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyor line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 1-2 years of experience and works under minimum supervision. Typical job titles include: General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer, Assembler and Line Operator.

We are looking for Experienced Machine Operators with attention to detail and analytical skills on Day Shift, with 2-3 years' experience. M&M Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal products, specifically HVAC sheet metal duct and accessories.

Job Summary

Performs as necessary and/or as instructed, various duties which includes but is not limited to, duties or work requirements normally performed by production employees, such as handling parts, materials, manufacturing of parts, operating production machinery and equipment, general warehouse duties, quality, safety, housekeeping and/or other duties as requested.

Principle Responsibilities And Relationships

• Perform various assigned operations to form and assemble sheet metal products utilizing a variety of tools and equipment that meet or exceed production requirements.
• Knowledge/experience of setups and operate sheet metal machines and equipment to fabricate and form parts. Use machines such as presses, shears, lockformers, rollers, benders, notchers, banders etc.
• Identify, eliminate and reject all materials or products that do not meet overall product quality standards.
• Perform job functions according to prescribed safety rules and plant regulations.
• Performs all other duties as required and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of manufacturing experience required
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Regular attendance on the job site is required
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Ability to wear and work with personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, squat, bend, twist
• Must be able to lift/pull min 40 lbs.
