Job Duties
  • Assembly operators are responsible for constructing automotive mirror components on a machine.
  • Their duties include assembling parts according to written and visual instructions, operating machinery for tasks like force fitting or fastening, and rotating between workstations as needed.
  • Operators also perform daily startup checks, maintain cleanliness and organization through 5S practices, and complete necessary documentation such as production reports and quality checklists
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
  • Ability to assemble products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or work instructions.
  • Ability to read assembly instructions, production documents, or basic blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to inspect completed assemblies and identify quality concerns.
  • Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to keep up with the assembly line cycle time to meet production needs
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English due to work instructions and work sheets at the beginning of every shift
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, assembly, manufacturing, production, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with hand tools, production equipment, or mechanical assemblies is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, adaptability, and strong attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembler.
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, products, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in warehouse and manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
