Job summary

Venteon is seeking anAssembler / Machine Tool Builder in Rochester Hills, MI. Responsibilities include assembling parts per drawings and schematics, using hand and power tools, and ensuring quality throughout production.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to read drawings and BOMs. Valid driver’s license/Real ID required for travel.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an assembler/machine tool builder.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drive systems.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials.
• Must possess or obtain a valid Driver’s License/Real ID.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products according to work instructions, drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Use hand/power tools and basic measurement devices.
• Inspect parts for defects and check quality throughout assembly.
• Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks as required by product.
• Maintain production records and follow procedures.
• Prepare machines for shipment, including crating and documentation.
• Support field installation and commissioning when needed.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Communicate issues to supervisors or team leads.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOMs
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with hand tools and simple measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges)
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Driver’s License and Real ID to support business travel and job‑related responsibilities.
