Key Responsibilities
Perform handassembly operations on CCAs: masking, component placement, lead forming, bonding, and staking per work instructions and engineering drawings.
Utilize precision tools (tweezer sets, microscopes, soldering irons, staking equipment, etc.) to achieve tight tolerances and proper alignment.
Conduct inprocess inspections (visual, dimensional, continuity) and document results using inspection worksheets or electronic data capture systems.
Identify nonconforming parts or processes, initiate corrective actions, and log findings in the quality system.
Maintain clean workstations, follow ESD control procedures, and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and suggest workflow enhancements.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or associate degree in electronics manufacturing, engineering technology, or related field is a plus.
2+ years of hands-on experience assembling circuit board assemblies, preferably in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
Proven inspection experience (visual, dimensional, AOI) with a strong eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with masking and unmasking processes for selective soldering or conformal coating.
Exposure to lead forming and staking techniques for high-frequency or RF boards.
Prior work in aerospace/defense or with military specification hardware.
Familiar with CS400 (cut and clinch) and other hand insert equipment of PTH parts.
