Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an assembler to be based in Boyne City, MI. The role involves hands-on assembly of components, sub-assemblies and products within a structured manufacturing environment, reading blueprints and BOMs, and ensuring quality throughout the production process.

You will participate in material handling, follow standard procedures, and support continuous improvement efforts. The position offers competitive benefits and a starting wage of $21.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and company products.
• Count, weigh, transport and pile materials.
• Deliver materials to departments as required.
• Handle and transport raw materials and parts between departments.
• Perform material handling in production operations.
• Bench or line assembly to contribute to final assembly.
• Use hand tools or bench-type power equipment.
• Recognize defective or damaged parts and faulty workmanship.
• Know processes and documentation required.
• Notify leader of print discrepancies and write CAR.
• Participate in the company quality process.

The company is currently seeking an Assemblerin Boyne City, MI.

SALARY: Starting at $21.25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and company products.
• Count, weigh, transport and pile materials.
• Deliver materials and parts to departments as required.
• Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies in and between departments for machining, assembly, or other forms of processing.
• Perform material handling work directly related to production operations.
• Bench or line assembly work operation contributing to final assembly.
• Use hand tools or bench type power equipment.
• Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality.
• Know processes and documentation required.
• Advise leader of print discrepancies and write CAR.
• Performs other work-related duties as required.
• Participation in the company quality process.

Qualifications
