Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Louisville, KY. The role involves assembling conveyors and carousel components according to detailed drawings and unit build instructions, testing motor function, and ensuring proper belt tracking on queue conveyors.

The assembler will also palletize and crate components and assist with shipping and receiving, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Assemble conveyors and carousel components according to drawings and UBI.
• Test conveyor motors and belt tracking on queue conveyors.
• Assist in receiving/shipping and keep the shop clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in check-in of incoming shipments and shipping of outgoing orders.

Assembler

Position Summary/ Primary Purpose

Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembly Technician (Laborer) will assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings in accordance with the customer/company specifications.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings
• Test conveyor motors and track conveyor belting on queue conveyors
• Palletize/crate conveyors & carousel components in a manner applicable to each job
• Assist in the check-in of incoming shipments/shipping of outgoing shipments as required in the shop
• Keep shop in clean and proper order
