Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Acme screw machines.
• Interpret blueprints and job orders for specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections and submit to Quality.
• Position and secure tools in holders; set cutting speeds and feeds.
• Cycle machines through settings and adjust for performance/accuracy.
• Start machines, monitor operations, conduct first-piece inspections.
• Submit conforming first-piece parts to Quality for approval.
• Perform interval-based part checks and maintain documentation.
• Operate machine and follow 2-pan system procedures; maintain area clean.
• Replace or sharpen worn tools using a bench grinder.
• Maintain safe, organized work area; perform additional duties.

Our team thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and a shared mission to make a difference.**What You'll Do**As **Acme B/S Set Up Operator** at our Avon Lake facility, you’ll play a key role in our manufacturing process by setting up and operating Acme screw machines to produce high-quality components.
