Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an ASRS Maintenance Technician to maintain automated cranes and pallet handling systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and document activities across the warehouse facilities.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. Compensation depends on experience; benefits include health, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintenance mechanic on ASRS cranes, conveyors, and pallet elevators.
• 3-5 years experience in mechanical and material handling systems or combination of training/certification.
• Strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
• Fully competent in mechanical knowledge and safe equipment handling.
• HAZMAT responder training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc.
• Performs major repairs on ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc.
• Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using the appropriate test equipment
• Troubleshoots ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc. and recommends corrective action
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use tools and equipment carefully as instructed
• Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records
• Answer after hours call backs as needed
• Keeps work area clean and performs housekeeping duties as required
• Performs related work and other job assignments as required
• Other building maintenance needs as assigned by manager
