Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company, a leading food and beverage distributor, is seeking a Materials Handling Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair warehouse equipment, including ASRS, conveyors, pallets, and palletizer systems.

The role reports to the Material Handling Maintenance Manager and requires initiative, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed. We offer competitive benefits and a long-standing family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years maintenance experience on ASRS conveyors, pallet elevators, or palletizer systems.
• 1-2 years of mechanical/material handling systems experience or related training.
• Strong communication and mechanical knowledge.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on ASRS conveyors, pallet elevators, and palletizer systems.
• Perform major repairs on ASRS conveyors and related equipment.
• Diagnose equipment performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and close work orders in fleet software.
• Respond to after-hours calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Assist with other building maintenance tasks as assigned.
