Salary: Not a salaried position UNLESS identified as a teacher of record or a residency teacher.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a Sub Authorization License

• A positive individual with a neat, clean appearance; a pleasant, courteous demeanor
• Ability to ask questions and work with a team
• Ability to read, write, and speak in order to comply with directions and instructions, complete tasks, and establish priorities.
• Possess skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively
• Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students, and the public
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow lesson plans as left by the educator and work collaboratively with the teacher in planning
• Follow university expectations
• Follow district policies and procedures
• Manage the classroom and keep students safe
• Follow guidelines as shared by the cooperating teacher and principal
