Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training in Oklahoma City, working in our Operations department.

The role supports the Store Manager with daily store operations and administrative duties, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and effective promotions of merchandise. You will learn all department responsibilities, handle inventory movement, sales trends, and staff guidance, and be prepared to assume Store Manager responsibilities during their absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling the assets of the store.
• Collaborate on action plans to accomplish selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Fill in for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain quality customer service as outlined in manuals.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn the Store Manager’s responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote merchandise.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies and standards.
• Protect assets and financial information; report potential fraud risks.
