Job summary

Circle K Hampstead, NH is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales and ensure excellent customer service. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, cash controls, and safety, and maintain store standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit and train employees, plan schedules, communicate with the team, and coordinate with suppliers to uphold Circle K standards. The role requires a High School diploma, retail experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience with essential duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to supervise and train staff using CSR/ASM guidance.
• Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.
• Computer skills for reports, inventory, cash control, and notices.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Plan tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees per guidelines to optimize service and image.
• Apply fair management practices in hiring, training, counseling and separation.
• Build positive supplier relationships and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure a safe public image in the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
• Train employees on customer service, site image and safety procedures.
• Communicate timely with staff; hold regular meetings.
• Develop action plans to meet site objectives and organize files.
• Supervise reports, inventory, pricing and compliance.
• Maintain posters and signs in accessible locations.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
• Budget, forecast and monitor margins; safeguard funds.
• Perform other financial analyses to improve results.
• Work indoors primarily; may perform outdoor tasks as needed.
• Be prepared for temperature extremes and noise; work with minimal supervision.
