Job summary

Boyne Resorts seeks an Apprentice Instructor to support children’s group lessons and seasonal programs, primarily for students six and under. You will assist with class activities and maintain a safe, positive learning environment under supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexibility during peak periods, with outdoor winter work and brief daily schedules. This is a part-time position at The Highlands, offering a pathway to grow within the Snowsports School.

Qualifications

• At least 14 years of age.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and timely.
• Able to work with children.
• Available during peak periods (weekends and holidays).
• Able to work inside and outside in a winter environment.
• Able to stand for longer periods, sometimes in ski and/or snowboard boots.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive and professional ambassador of The Highlands, and Snowsports in general, to all guests.
• Adhering to all Snowsports School safety policies.
• Assisting instructors with outside responsibilities and class management.
• Assisting instructors with children’s group lessons.
• Assisting instructors when signing up and checking in for lessons.
• Other duties as assigned when needed by manager.
