Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands in Maryland is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to be the Right Hand to the Salon Leader. You keep the energy high, guests happy, and the team on track while you lead from behind the chair.

This full-time leadership role offers the chance to mentor stylists, strengthen the Guest Journey, manage scheduling, and contribute to a profitable salon. Compensation is commission-driven with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license for the state applying to.
• Full-time leadership role (40 hours per week minimum).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Great attitude, strong communication, and basic inventory/cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor, manage the appointment book, and ensure guests leave satisfied.
• Coach and mentor teammates to reach goals using the IGROW model.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Assist with local marketing initiatives to keep chairs full and support brand growth.
