Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking motivated leadership to join its management team in a fast-paced retail setting. The Assistant Salon Director will drive store performance, foster superior client service, and supervise Tanning Consultants to meet company goals.

Ideal candidates have retail management or sales experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for team leadership. Expect a dynamic role with opportunities for advancement and a robust bonus program.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Experience in management and/or sales preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple situations
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
• Strong leadership skills with coaching and mentoring abilities
• Team building and delegation abilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals for Team Members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Help maintain staffing levels to ensure productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Five days per week and approximately 40 hours per week.
