Job summary

Holy Names Academy is seeking an Assistant Robotics Coach for the Reign Robotics Team in Seattle. This role focuses on mentoring young women in STEM, assisting with building and programming the team robot, and supporting the Head Coach in leadership and project management.

Responsibilities include coordinating registration and events, coordinating team apparel, and helping organize outreach activities to grow interest in robotics within the school and community.

Qualifications

• Experience not required, though a background in STEM or related fields is preferred.
• Strong interest in coaching and mentorship of high school students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist hands-on building and programming of the team's robot during off-season and build/competition seasons.
• Collaborate with the student business team to align marketing with team needs and school mission.
• Learn from and work with Head Coach to potentially assume leadership in coming years.
• Oversee student registration and ensure permission slips for events are completed.
• Coordinate ordering and distribution of team apparel for events.
• Help plan and manage outreach events to promote robotics in school and community.
