Job summary

Menahga Public Schools and Sebeka Public Schools are seeking a Robotics Coach to lead and support their robotics program. The role provides leadership, instruction, and supervision for students in robotics activities and competitions, aiming to develop skills in robotics, engineering, programming, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotics, engineering, programming, STEM education, or a related field.
• Previous experience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or working with students.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents/guardians, and community partners.
• Ability to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead robotics practices, meetings, and competition preparation.
• Provide instruction and guidance in robotics, engineering, programming, design, and problem-solving.
• Support students as they design, build, program, test, troubleshoot, and improve robots.
• Prepare students and teams for robotics competitions and related events.
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.
• Coordinate competition schedules, transportation, facilities, equipment, and other program needs with school administration.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, staff, administrators, and competition officials.
• Promote teamwork, creativity, perseverance, accountability, sportsmanship, and professionalism.
