Job summary

The Build Partners, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for structural concrete projects in Maryland. You will support Project Managers and Superintendents, coordinate scheduling, RFIs, shop drawings, and cost control, and help ensure safety, quality, and on-time project completion.

Ideal candidates bring a 2-year PM background in commercial or multi-family construction, 2 years of structural concrete experience, and proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, AutoCAD, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or related field or equivalent construction experience.
• 2 years of project management experience in commercial or multi-family construction.
• 2 years of structural concrete experience including Tilt-Up, Foundations.
• Knowledge of contractor and vendor management, contract administration, scope management, procurement, OSHA safety, QC, scheduling, change orders, RFIs, daily field reporting, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, sequencing, manpower, equipment, and scheduling.
• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Prepare, submit, and track RFIs through Procore.
• Review and submit rebar, post-tension, and formwork shop drawings.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and civil drawings and maintain current drawings in Procore.
• Support project closeout activities and quality control documentation.
