Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in Uniontown, PA. You will apply your didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, helping ensure timely, safe prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, SOPs, and collaborative practice while developing skills for future pharmacist responsibilities. This is a part-time internship with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and assist with immunizations as allowed.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and liaise with prescribers when needed.
• Maintain inventory activities and ensure proper stocking and cycle counts.
• Support a high-performing team and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
