Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions in Chicago, IL seeks a Management Liability Underwriting Intern to join our Financial and Professional Lines Underwriting team. This full-time, paid internship starts in early June 2027 and runs 8–12 weeks, offering hands-on exposure to specialty insurance and underwriting principles.

You'll work closely with experienced underwriters on day-to-day tasks and special projects, developing knowledge of corporate insurance functions while performing entry-level

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Risk Management, Insurance, or Business degree.
• Preferred coursework in insurance or financial analysis.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Ability to travel.
