United States Sugar Corporation is seeking a skilled Trackman to support daily track maintenance at our Florida sugar operations. You will operate a Material Truck and Roadway Maintenance Machines, perform inspections, report defects, and support safety programs and night/weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in railroad track maintenance, a Florida Class E license, and strong communication and teamwork abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in railroad track maintenance.
• Valid Florida Class E driver's license.
• Knowledge of FRA Track Safety Standards (49 CFR 213).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English and radio communications.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily track maintenance and repairs including rail replacement, tie changes, surfacing, and tamping.
• Operate Material Truck and other Roadway Maintenance Machines as required.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate work with Railroad Operations and report defects.
• Support Senior Lead Trackman in crew coordination and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, and emergencies.
