Job summary
VSC Fire & Security in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician Trainee to support installation, service and inspection of fire protection and life-safety systems. You will work under a licensed technician, learning fire alarms, access control, CCTV and related tech, while gaining hands-on field experience.
Excellent pay starting at $17.00–$27.00 per hour based on experience, plus benefits and advancement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
- Show attention to detail and clear communication.
- Willingness for professional development and growth.
- Able to pass background checks as required.
- Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Desirable: experience in construction or electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Interpret instructions and directives from supervisor.
- Communicate project or service details to supervisor.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner per supervisor.
- Coordinate with co-workers and on-site personnel.
- Operate basic office tech as needed (phones, email, etc.).
- Assist with installation, service and inspection of integrated systems under supervision.
