Job summary

Operations Council in West Orange, NJ, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a year-long program designed to provide hands-on experience in the CEO role within an inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

The program includes extensive orientation, enculturation, and administrative onboarding, with training across clinical services, case management, medical staff relations, marketing, compliance, finance, and HR. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Three (3) years of managerial experience in a healthcare institution.
• Specific management functions of finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs.

Responsibilities

• The COO Program provides hands-on understanding of a CEO’s role and responsibilities within the hospital and organization.
• Covers orientation, enculturation, administrative onboarding and support with training across a range of areas including clinical services, case management, medical staff relations, marketing, regulatory compliance, financial management and human resources.
