Qualifications

• WV teaching certification or WVDE teaching permit or substitute permit is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• WVSSAC certification required.

Responsabilités

• Fosters professional and interpersonal relations with staff, administration, participants, and community.
• Cooperates with building principal and athletic director.
• Develops rapport with coaching staff within the school and organizes coaching staff.
• Develops positive relationships with participants, student body, faculty, parents, community, officials, media, and opponents.
• Ensures appropriate conduct during practices and games and attends league and WVSSAC meetings.
• Motivates staff and players toward desired goals and models respectful behavior in appearance, manners, and language.
• Oversees pre-season planning, practice design, and game organization; supervises managers and support personnel.
• Manages budget, follows purchasing procedures, and completes WVSSAC Training and Concussion certification programs.
