Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Waconia, MN is seeking an Assistant General Manager to grow into store leadership. You will partner with the GM to run the store, develop team, and deliver day-making experiences for customers.

You’ll focus on sales goals, cash handling, inventory, and onboarding, while modeling Caribou values and driving a positive community impact. Previous restaurant or retail supervisory exposure is preferred, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service.
• Able to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Team Members and Shift Leaders with enthusiasm and excellence.
• Partner with the General Manager to run the store and drive sales goals.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Ensure customer connections and brand values are lived every shift.
• Coach staff to resolve problems and deliver a consistent guest experience.
• Support store administration and daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
• Foster a growth mindset and prepare for broader leadership roles.
• Collaborate to create a safe, welcoming, and high-performing environment.
