Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Financial Advisor Trainee through the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) in Louisville, KY. The program combines distance learning, apprenticeship, and on‑the‑job training to build the foundation of a successful financial advisory practice under mentorship.

You will balance new client development, investment management, and client service while meeting production targets and earning the right licenses to advance within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant experience in sales or financial services.
• Licensing: SIE required; Series 7/66 or ability to obtain within four months; Life/Health/Variable Annuity licenses or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support development of client relationships and new business through the AMP program.
• Meet production targets and contribute to firm revenue goals.
• Provide clients with sound financial advice aligned to objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
• Develop a book of business through prospecting and community involvement.
• Assist clients with investment opportunities and portfolio monitoring.
• Maintain client records and comply with regulations.
