Dobbs Truck Group is hiring for an Apprentice Diesel Technician in Pasco, WA. This hands-on role trains you to become a fully qualified Diesel Technician within 1–2 years, with mentorship from experienced technicians and structured shop work.

You'll learn routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks while growing your skills in a supportive environment that values career progression and safety training.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of mechanical experience or trade/technical school training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic tool set (minimum requirements apply).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (lubrication, filters, belts, hoses).
• Assist with engine, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
• Support basic electrical work (batteries, lights, starters, alternators).
• Inspect vehicles and report findings to senior technicians.
• Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Follow shop procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Accurately document work performed.
