Job summary

ARCO is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern in Orlando, FL. You will support estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, and site visits under the guidance of seasoned project managers.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management programs with a 3.0+ GPA and prior internship experience preferred. Excellent communication and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating, scheduling, and design meetings.
• Send bid instructions and evaluate proposals for subcontracts.
• Fill out permit forms and coordinate approvals with authorities.
• Review shop drawings/submittals and communicate material ordering status.
• Support billing processes including change orders and pay requests.
• Visit job sites with PMs to ensure projects run smoothly.
