Job summary

New York Sports Club is seeking a General Manager for one of our Northeast locations. The role focuses on driving net membership growth, increasing dues, and expanding ancillary revenue while managing P&L and supervising club staff.

The General Manager reports to the Regional Leader and oversees sales professionals, club managers, and other employees, with responsibility for achieving financial and operational targets in a dynamic fitness environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management in fitness, hospitality, or retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, finance, or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee club operations to drive revenue, control costs, and improve profitability.
• Manage club managers and sales staff, setting SMART goals and providing coaching.
• Monitor P&L, payroll, and budgeting to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of club personnel with NYSC tools.
