Davey Tree Expert Co is seeking a climbing arborist trainee to join our on-site team in Great Falls, MT. The office is outdoors, and you will learn to climb trees and work as part of a crew, progressing in pruning and removal services while staying safe and compliant.

You’ll receive comprehensive safety training, tools and equipment, and opportunities for advancement as you gain experience in tree care and related services.

Qualifications

• Outdoor-loving candidate willing to learn climbing and safety procedures.
• Ability to complete orientation and safety courses on hire.
• Preferred licenses or certifications related to pesticides or state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to climb trees and work as part of a tree crew.
• Perform pruning and removal tasks safely and skillfully.
• Maintain tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and lifts.
• Follow industry pruning guidelines and safety procedures.
