Job summary

DDG is seeking a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on multiple civil engineering projects in Houston. From preliminary design through construction, you will help develop plans, coordinate with utilities and municipalities, and ensure project objectives are met while learning and growing your skills.

You will work closely with the PM/SPM, manage client needs, and assist with budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 0-3+ years of experience with civil engineering projects
• Experience with local jurisdictional governments related to design criteria and permitting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Path toward professional licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Support PM and SPM by managing project tasks and communications
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and sub-consultants
• Assist with design development from preliminary design to construction plans
• Monitor budgets and schedules and report variances
• Support site evaluations, due diligence, and construction support
