Job summary

DDG is seeking a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager in Gautier, MS to support PMs on civil projects from design through construction. You will collaborate with the PM/SPM, coordinate with municipalities and sub-consultants, and help manage scopes, budgets, and schedules to deliver on project goals.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree with 0–3 years of experience; AutoCAD Civil 3D skills are preferred and travel is ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 0-3+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Path toward professional licensure preferred.
• Experience with local jurisdictional governments related to design criteria and permitting.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the PM and SPM to achieve project objectives.
• Assist with client needs, project scopes, budgets, support personnel, and schedule.
• Maintain communication with municipalities and sub-consultants.
• Coordinate with client representatives and external project team.
• Respond to client requests with urgency as directed by the PM.
• Understand and help manage the project budget to avoid overruns.
