Havertys Furniture Companies, Inc. in Bowie, MD, is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to partner with an experienced Havertys Manager and be groomed for promotion to Branch Manager. You will deliver world-class service, coach teams, and oversee operations while advancing your career with Havertys.

This role requires relocation within the Virginia and Maryland market, a 5-day workweek with evenings and weekends. Base pay is $60,000+ with bonus potential and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• College education preferred; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Love for sales and creating happiness with customers and building relationships.
• Furniture and interior design experience a major plus.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead others; professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop teams to promote a positive store environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and merchandise presentation.
• Oversee inventory control, merchandising and store operations.
• Relocate to Havertys locations within the Virginia and Maryland market as needed.
• Represent Havertys with professionalism and brand integrity.
