Qualifications

• Hold a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Must enroll in a program to become a Behavior Analyst and complete within two years of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with students with academic, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges.
• Assist in the development of behavioral and instructional interventions plans.
• Must be able to assess data to develop effective intervention plans for students.
• Demonstrate effective problem solving, communications, organization, planning, record keeping, and human relations skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators, and others.
• Exhibit enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community, including difficult situations. Communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
