Pilgrim’s is hiring an Accounting Manager in Training to oversee all financial aspects of operations accounting within the facility management team. The role emphasizes cost reduction through reporting and analysis, budgeting, and internal control development in line with Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP.

The position requires a 4-year Accounting/Finance degree and 3–5 years in operational accounting, with SAP/Excel proficiency. Relocation may be needed; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Competenze

• 3-5 years’ experience in operational accounting.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems, Excel and Microsoft.
• Ability to prepare financial statements, reports and analyses.
• Payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, and cost accounting knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and team skills; supervision experience.
• Willing to relocate based on Accounting Manager openings.

• Prepare or direct preparation of reports summarizing activity, expenses and variances.
• Assist with development of internal control procedures and compliance.
• Ensure proper segregation of duties and safeguard company assets.
• Manage Accounting function at the location for cross-training and staff development.
• Coordinate preparation of yearly budgets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financials and variance reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned.
