Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire seeks an Associate Director to lead the TRIO Aspire program, serving 280 students annually. You will supervise 5 FTE staff, ensure program activities, and coordinate tutoring, mentoring, and the Links Summer Bridge.

Collaborate across campus to raise TRIO visibility, ensure compliance with federal guidelines, oversee reporting to the U.S. Department of Education, and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience serving disadvantaged students.
• Three years of experience coordinating academic support in higher education.
• Proven communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; familiarity with Canvas, SIS and Colleague.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to day-to-day operations of the programs and department.
• Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of staff; oversee staff meetings.
• Oversee compliance with federal TRIO guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with campus partners to raise TRIO visibility and coordinate services.
• Prepare and submit program reports to the U.S. Department of Education.
• Manage budgets, grant tracking, and data-driven program improvements.
