Job summary

Dorleco in Detroit is seeking a senior automotive systems/software engineer to lead ASPICE Level 2 deployment and manage requirements, reviews, traceability and test linkage. You will define system boundaries, interfaces and baseline requirements, run audits, and establish dashboards.

Coordination with onshore/offshore teams and reporting to program leadership is essential for this role. The position emphasizes improving project management and quality assurance with hands-on ASPICE 3.1/4.0

Qualifications

• 8+ years in automotive systems/software engineering
• Experience leading ASPICE Level 2 implementation
• Defining and deploying requirements management, review and traceability
• Running audits and internal readiness assessments
• Building dashboards for management reporting
• Coordinating onshore/offshore teams across large time differences

Responsibilities

• Lead ASPICE Level 2 process deployment for an automotive embedded/software team
• Define and maintain requirements engineering, review, traceability and test-linkage procedures
• Define system boundary, functions, modes and interfaces; review and baseline system and software requirements
• Oversee requirement-based verification and close evidence gaps, including test-bench/HIL capability
• Run work-product and process audits, readiness assessments and progress/coverage dashboards
• Improve project management, supplier management, problem resolution and quality assurance practices
• Coordinate onshore/offshore teams and reporting to program leadership
