Job summary

Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions is seeking a Facility Manager for our Pasco, WA terminal. You will lead daily operations of liquid asphalt and emulsion production, manage staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role includes capital project oversight, maintenance, and cost control to support on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong leadership, engineering/business acumen, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, chemistry or business field.
• 3–5 years' prior experience with asphalt terminal operations or chemical processing environments.
• Proven leadership, team-building and personnel development experience.
• Clear knowledge of industrial safety and environmental compliance reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with suppliers, peers, customers and regulatory personnel.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions and implement change.
• Strong recordkeeping and organization skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic leadership and development for facility staff.
• Manage administrative duties, records, and reporting for the facility.
• Plan and schedule production activities and hire/train staff.
• Maintain relationships with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, and transportation reps.
• Oversee inventory control and manufacturing operations for cost efficiency.
• Direct product receipts, transfers, blending, and shipments.
• Maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and capital projects.
• Coordinate with corporate engineering and contractors on projects.
• Develop safety/environment programs and compliance reporting.
• Develop and manage terminal budgets and local purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with trucking, rail, and marine regulations.
• Drive data-driven decision making using operations/financial data.
