Job summary

Silver Star Construction is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver (CDL-A with Tanker Endorsement) to support paving operations in Moore, OK. You will operate distributor trucks, apply tack coat and asphalt emulsions, and help on roadway projects.

This full-time role requires a clean driving record, the ability to pass DOT screenings, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime. Safety and teamwork are valued, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement (Required).
• Clean driving record.
• Hazmat (X) endorsement preferred.
• DOT drug screen, physical, and background check required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate asphalt distributor trucks and equipment.
• Apply tack coat and emulsions per project specifications.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Monitor fluid levels and inspect equipment for leaks or mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance including greasing and cleaning spray systems.
• Adjust spray bars and flow controls to achieve proper coverage rates.
• Assist with additional construction duties as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver to support our paving operations by safely operating distributor trucks and applying tack coat and asphalt emulsions to roadway projects.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, and walking on uneven terrain
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
