Your Role

As an Asphalt Distributor Driver, you'll be responsible for operating specialized trucks that apply tack coat and asphalt emulsions before paving begins.

Responsibilities Include

• Driving and operating distributor equipment.
• Conducting daily inspections and safety checks.
• Monitoring equipment performance and fluid levels.
• Cleaning and maintaining spray systems and tanks.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Working alongside paving crews to meet project schedules.
• Following all safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker Endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Climb equipment and enter/exit trucks frequently.
• Bend, squat, stoop, and walk on uneven surfaces.
• Maintain awareness of active construction operations.
