Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training is available.
• Encourage a valid NC Driver License.
• Willingness to learn multiple paving tasks.
• Ability to abide by safety rules and policies.
• Reliable and trustworthy team player with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a jack or screed on construction sites to finish asphalt mat.
• Pave asphalt to achieve a finished grade on roadways or parking lots.
• Use tools such as shovel, rake, lute, broom, etc.
• May operate farm tractor with power broom attachment.
• Identify problems ahead of the paver and adjust screed for ride quality.
